Where to go?!

I know it’s still summer, but I’ve already started to think about where to spend my winter.
Living in Sweden is awsome in so many ways, but I hate freezing and if you do then winter really sucks in this beautiful country!

So my plan is, like every year, to pack my bag and go somewhere in the world to work for some months.
Since I work with web travelling is never a problem, my office is not bigger then my MacBook Air 11 and my iPhone, and the only thing I need other then that is a café and wifi.

So then the question is – where?
And this is the problem that Owegoo are trying to solve.
‘Cause I have no clue on where I want to go this winter, but I know what I need and want on the place where I end up.

This is my list of the stuff I need want.

  • I want to go somewhere where it’s warm, perfect would be around 30 degrees C.
  • It needs to be cheeper to live there then it is in Sweden, so cheap that when splitting the cost over the months my livingcost should be so low that the price of the flighttickets didn’t become an extra cost.
  • I like big cities and good food.
  • I want to be able to walk around alone and feel safe.
  • Of course good infrastructure is a must since I’m gonna work there, but that can mean some cafés with good wifi or the possibility to buy cheap prepaid-simcards.
  • Also it would be nice to be in a country where I can communicate with the people living there, so english or spanish.
  • If would be awsome if it’s close to the sea.

Soon Owegoo is ready to be release, but until then I guess I have to continue googeling around to try to find places that fit my whishlist and then compare prices myself, having 20 windows open just to compare flighttickets to different destinations and with different companies.

But I promise you, I need Owegoo too much to let it take much longer!
